For my final project, I wanted to highlight the beauty of California from the confines of the highway, and so I took photos in a moving convertible along the Pacific Coast Highway. The trip began in El Segundo and ended in Malibu. The driver and I, plus her dog Rooney, made a stop on the way back, which concluded my photo essay. Among the photos include bystanders enjoying the scenic beaches by various means of transportation and aesthetic photos of the ocean. I hope these photos serve to capture the true beauty of the California coast and juxtapose the constant complaints of traffic and smog in Los Angeles.
