I’m Morgan Greenwald. I’m a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A. in Print and Digital Journalism and Entrepreneurship. Currently, I serve as a trending content writer at In The Know where I cover everything teens and tweens could ever want or need to know about.
The diversity of my past gigs has made me a versatile reporter who is able to work with any topic. From chronicling Prince’s death to exploring the phenomenon of constipation, I’ve covered every subject matter imaginable, which has helped shape my reporting and researching abilities.
Before ITK, I held coveted positions at Shape Magazine in conjunction with the American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) summer internship program, Best Life, First For Women, LittleThings, Billboard, Los Angeles Magazine, Cosmopolitan, MovieMaker Magazine and eHow.com. At every internship and job I have held, I have honed my writing, editing and fact-checking skills by working closely with senior editors.
In college, I was also a copyeditor and staff reporter for the Daily Trojan and Neon Tommy, USC’s online student-run publication. In 2016, I was awarded the Mark of Excellence Award by the Society of Professional Journalists for my feature story on the safety of Bikram yoga, which you can read here.
If you want to talk (or preferably send an assignment my way), don’t hesitate to email me. Topics of interest include puppies, Haruki Murakami and tofu recipes.
